Indian Summer add-on

Are you getting ready for Thanksgiving? I am, even though it isn't a holiday here :-) Tomorrow the small (8 lbs) turkey will come out of the freezer to thaw in the fridge. Waited too long once again so we couldn't order a fresh one from the farm.... Next year :-) Thursday I'll get the rest of the things I need and we'll have our meal on Saturday.

I finally got the wordArt done and zipped the Indian Summer add-on for you. Everything else is leftover from the main kit: 6 papers, 2 overlay borders, and 6 vellum tags. I also made a special just-for-the-add on item....a gradient coil with pearls on it :-)

Download HERE. Watch for the Indian Summer blog train, leaving the station on December 1st.
And so, until next time *hugs*,

More Indian Summer

I'm having trouble waking up in the morning. I love sleeping late occassionally but it's getting to be a habit now. I used to wake up between 7:30 and 8:30 am. Now it's more like 10 am! Of course, we're up till after midnight but that was never a problem before *l*. It is nice to wake up with my hubby in bed and not off to work....but things will get back to normal eventually :-)

Here is the next part of Indian Summer. There are 8 bows, 10 buttons, 1 triple photo frame, 1 photo mat, 1 set photo prongs, 2 stick pins, 8 ribbons and 8 gauze ribbon curls :-) The final part of this kit will be ready for you next week :-)

Indian Summer

I wish we were enjoying an Indian summer, or as it's called in Germany , Golden Summer. It's rained so much our pond is about to overflow. The hedge is almost bare of leaves and the Japanese Maple is completely bare! It's been cold....I've been cold.....and my brain is hibernating *l*! I turned in the first part of my kit to SKC but forgot to post it on my blog......

I just about have the second part done but it still needs some finishing touches. It should be ready for you next week :-) I should start thinking about Thanksgiving, too. It's not a holiday here of course, but I've kept the tradition, roasting a turkey and serving it with all the trimmings! We have to watch it a bit this year since my hubby hasn't found a job yet but it's not an option to skip it ;-) Those leftovers are just too good *l*!

And now, you can download the Indian Summer papers here. Until next time...

Sweet Tooth Blog train

Did you make it safely through the Halloween celebrations to All Saints Day? We don't get trick or treaters here but it seems that Halloween parties are popular in a few German cities :-) Well, a few years ago we did get a few kids at our door for treats and my husband heard them talking. They were wondering if they should speak in English (knowing that I'm American) or if they would stick with German :-)

Now that November has arrived it feels like autumn is in full swing. A week ago we put the pond filters away... The leaves are falling fast from the trees and wisteria... Colors are changing from green to golden yellow, bright red and shades of brown.... The clocks are set back.... We wait now for the first snow....

Today the Sweet Tooth Blog Train is leaving! Are you ready for it?? I have two posts for my kit but there are three parts: elements, papers and borders. Make sure you collect them all :-) I should also tell you that not everyone who posts their kits on Scrap Kit Challenge join the blog train. You should consider joining SKC so you don't miss any of the mega kits we offer. It's completely free but to access the kits you need to register. We have 389 members but not everyone participates and there is no requirement for that anyway. You can find us here and who knows, maybe you will try your hand at creating:-)

And now for the links to the rest of the train:

Catt is a late but wonderful addition to the train. She has written at SKC that this will be her last. Please check out her kit....you won't be sorry!

The theme for November is "Indian Summer" and the color palette leads us from the golden colors of autumn to the first frost or snow of winter. What will I create for you? You'll have to come back to find out :-)

Until next time *hugs*,

Sweet Tooth elements

I have finally finished Sweet Tooth, just this morning in fact :-) I had to completely re-do the candy on a rope because I saved something over it....dumb me *l*. Not everything is shown in the preview because there are 58 elements for you!

Download the elements here. Don't forget to come back for the blog train! It will be leaving on Sunday, November 1st and there are some very nice kits for you to collect :-)

Until next time *hugs*,
